Our science projects coordinator and scientist-in-residence help students establish connections to area universities and research institutions.
Lower School Community Service Club introduces the youngest members of our community to volunteerism at an early age, and this tradition is carried on by Middle and Upper school service clubs.
Middle School students tutor public school elementary school students through the McCutcheon School Partnership.
Upper School students take part in service learning, which involves a minimum of 40 hours of community service for each tenth-grade student.
Members of our faculty serve on the teacher advisory boards of the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, the Chicago Historical Society, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Field Museum of Natural History, among other local institutions.

To ensure that our school and our city remain great for each other, The Campaign for Latin will enable us to:
Hire faculty jointly with other local institutions.
Sponsor professionals-in-residence—writers, journalists, curators, scientists, and others.
Tap local universities for top-quality teacher assistants for Lower School classrooms.
