The Latin School of Chicago holds a large fundraising event every year. Through the generosity of Latin’s parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends, the annual fundraising event provides operating funds helping Latin bridge the gap between tuition and the cost of educating its 1,084 students.


The success of these events is due in part to donors who provide event underwriting, additional gifts beyond purchase of tickets, auction items, etc. The annual event rotates between the Scholarship Dinner and the Auction. The fundraising event for the 2005 - 2006 school year is the Scholarship Dinner.

Underwriters of Latin’s fundraising event include hundreds of individual donors who contribute gifts to the event ranging from $10 to $25,000. These donors are specially recognized in the event program and at certain levels receive complimentary event tickets.
